How To Print Clear Address Labels

Transparent Address Labels

Does anyone know what are the best transparent labels I can get? I have escort cards that are white (with a tree on the side) and I would like to print everyone's name on a label and stick it on the escort card, but I'm only really finding white labels and I would really prefer the label is transparent so it's as least distracting as possible.

Anyone have a preferred brand of the most "invisible" label out there? I also tried looking on Zazzle but I didn't see anything transparent on there. but totally fine to just order labels as well since I can print them myself at work.

Thanks!

I used Avery transparent labels, they were $12 at Staples for like 300 or something. They have a great online function where you can customize them if you want and print them directly from the site to your home computer.

I used Avery clear labels with pop-up edge from staples. It is # 15660, Easy Peel Address Labels. Check them out!

Word of advice when typing up labels.. keep in mind how many possible engagement party, bridal shower, wedding invitations and Thank You cards you will send to the same address and "copy/paste" an extra set or two for those future cards and invites. It saved me a lot of time Smiley sexy

I used Avery as well, it was pretty easy-- just make sure you get the correct labels for your printer (ink or laser) or they wont dry right.

Agree with what ppl mentioned, purchase the a very brand and as the poster pointed out know which type of ink your printer uses...ink jet or laser as it determines how fast the labels dry to make them smudge free. I used clear labels from start to finish. It made addressing so much easier.

The Avery ones are $6 on amazon for 300. My FMIL used them on tags for my shower favors & we will be using them for the escort cards as well.

I used Avery labels as well. If you just set up your list in excel, you can do a mail merge. You can edit your list for STDs, invites, bridal shower, and thank yous. I didn't plan my shower of course, but I made labels for my MOH (who hosted the shower) to make it easier for her.

Labels will print much better on a laser printer than an inkjet.

I also used the Avery labels (on my STDs). You couldn't even tell the labels were there. The addresses looked printed on.

ETA: I used an inkjet printer. Make sure you buy the correct labels for your printer.

I second this. Standard office supply stores like staples are the way to go here.
I'm in a wedding coming up and they just bought regular print-at-home clear Avery labels and formatted them from Microsoft word. It came out really nice and looks a lot more expensive than it was.

Used the Avery labels for our save the dates. Just be careful to select the right type for your printer - inkjet vs laser. They worked great!

We got 18661 since they were slightly larger which came in handy when completing the invitations
